Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN)

Investigational drug study evaluating pain even after the rash associated with shingles has healed.

Eligible Participants:

Age 18-85
Shingles rash has been cleared for at least 6 months
Daily pain from PHN for at least 3 months
Participant is willing to discontinue use of medications that may be used to treat your pain
PHN is your most painful condition and you do NOT have any other significant medical conditions

Exclusion: chronic pain more severe than PHN; major depression; prior neurolytic treatment; unstable medical conditions; participant takes antidepressants
